Not long ago, in a tiny little town in the south of France, a film was shown. This film dazzled and bewitched its audience and became the hit of the festival. Accompanying this film was Barbouillageville: That Painter Film, the student film that Declan Byrne and I (and a heap of others) spent many a V-filled evenings frantically working on.
Since it's debut at the Festival De Cannes in Cannes, France, the film has traveled the globe, entering film festivals and generally running amok. But now it's here to join the ranks of the internet and it's made it's second debut.
We're totally thrilled by the response that the internet has had to it's debut and still can't really believe that we were frontpaged here on Newgrounds. Thanks to everyone who's viewed and voted on the film here and if you haven't seen it, here's a link for you :D If you found the film enjoyable, there's also a haych dee version on youtube and vimeo.
But wait, there's more. You can check follow the film on Facebook and get all our latest animation related news. You can also check out my twitter and blog as I sometimes actually post things.
If you're real interested in our works, you can also check out our websites here and here.
Once again, a big thanks to everyone who helped us get here and we'll be back with more animation in the future, so keep your eyes open 8|

I really enjoyed your film, very entertaining.
Loved that use of primary colours, I bet this film won some awards during the festivals I bet.
Shame it was only on front page for around 3 days, should have been up on front page for a month really.

Haha. Well it won a couple of awards, nothing major though. One of the most rewarding aspects of the festival tour was just being accepted into these festivals. Anyway, we would have loved for it to be up there for a couple more days, but when you're competing with Harry Partridge, Yotam Perel, and Sexual Lobster, I'm happy it was up for even that short time.
Thank you so much for the feedback :)
