Although it was rendered really nicely, it felt a bit empty. I think it might have needed some animation to keep it afloat.

You're right! It was first only meant to be a simple model showcase to display one of my first ever hard surface models in 3D, but I ended up going a little crazy and giving it a small story so it is lacking a few things to push it over that edge. It's not bad, however, I totally recommend enlarging your sprites before you bring them into Sony Vegas. The quality was really the only reason I gave this a lower score. Like I said though, It wasn't that bad. Keep up the work your doing :)
