Although it was rendered really nicely, it felt a bit empty. I think it might have needed some animation to keep it afloat.

You're right! It was first only meant to be a simple model showcase to display one of my first ever hard surface models in 3D, but I ended up going a little crazy and giving it a small story so it is lacking a few things to push it over that edge. [SSBZ Title Sequence]

It's not bad, however, I totally recommend enlarging your sprites before you bring them into Sony Vegas. The quality was really the only reason I gave this a lower score. Like I said though, It wasn't that bad. Keep up the work your doing :)

Brilliant. I loved the animation and the timing, action, and dialogue was great. I really feel like it should have gone just a bit longer however, and it cut out very quickly. Other than that, it was a great film.

Yeah, I know what you mean. If I had had more time to work on it, I would have liked to add more elements to it. There was originally a whole bit about pinecones, and then making a fire, and all this nice symbolic junk about life that I had to cut to get it animated in a week. Thanks though!
